Wilbur's Chocolate Factory | 2018 Wilbur’s Of Maine Chocolate Confections, 7 time consecutive winner of DownEast Magazine’s Reader’s Choice for Maine’s Best Chocolate and Best Candy Shop, is a family owned business established in 1983 in Freeport Maine. At the time, there were only two outlets in Freeport. Production grew; requiring continuous moves until the factory landed at its current location at 174 Lower Main Street in Freeport in 2008. This location, built into an old farm house from 1900 with numerous additions, is the home of the main Chocolate Factory, offices, and retail store. With the company expanding with new product lines, and the creation of family friendly demonstrations and events, the current eclectic layout was far from functional. With a confusing entrance sequence, an outdated interior, and the lack of an appropriate event space – Harriman helped to redesign the first floor retail space to better suit the clients needs.
Stila Cosmetics Retail Design | Spring 2013 Stila is a whimsical cosmetics brand that has a strong focus on individuality.
CREATING STILA'S SIGNATURE LOOK The store design was inspired by the concept of a fingerprint. Just as the signature is a way to leave a trace, the fingerprint is also a way to leave a mark on the world. It is individualized, and everyone has their own. Stila’s store and layout promote a journey, finding one’s signature look that leads them to look and feel their best, inside and out. The displays are intended to function as an interactive space, that highlights the quality and color of the product and encourages the shopper to interact and circulate throughout.
